Description
We’re students of one of the metropolitan university in Ukraine. Content of our lections includes math, programming, physics, economics.
I think, for those who lives in Kyiv there are no problems, but if you are from province… Automatically, you became so undemanding person in the eyes of others. Off course, what can you say about person that lives on 4.5 square metres and keeps there bed, clothes, cooking battery, food, books, computer and a little bit more stuff for living? Moreover, he’s satisfied with shower by hours (so those who get up early, come back late or come back from home in the middle of a day – must stay dirty), broken taps, dirty uncomfortable kitchen (there is 20 metres and a door that you can’t leave unclosed between pan and stove), and I don’t have the right words for toilets… Oh, and off course – NO PRIVATE LIFE!
Why is this so? Very simple arithmetic:
Middle price for one-room flat(for those who don’t know- here one room means flat that contains one room, kitchen and lavatory – that’s all) in Kyiv: - $600
Scholarship: +$60
Help of parents who, in average, get $400 together per month: +$75
Total: - $465
You have no choice but to live in a hostel on 4.5 square metres and 3 random person with you.

Project “Obschaga” was made by me and my friend Maria. Sorry for my English, please. You can find Russian text here: [link]
